I found  in my old notebook a printout of a web page about the wiggle 
problem.  From the those notes it seems that the problem is NOT due to 
the rounding of numbers, since it was observed by Ralph using the Ntuple 
10 and i was reproduced by  Vipuli with GSIM. There is not final 
solution to the problem in those notes and I cannot recall anything else 
either.
If you want I send send you a copy of those notes (I would need to scan 
them)...
