Dear "exclusive" enthusiasts,
I just remembered from last week's EG1 meeting that I promised to send out an email to all of you with a little "nudge" to organize yourself around the various exclusive eg1 and eg4 analyses that are either ongoing or possible. I believe there are several issues that are common to all exclusive analyses: Studies of the effects of finite and varying acceptance on things like sin(phi) moments (or phi,theta,Q2 and W-dependent asymmetries in general); systematic errors stemming from combining different runs with different target polarizations (potentially from different time periods) do extract single spin asymmetries (or even double spin ones); and above all exclusive radiative corrections. (On the last item, Andrei has already gracefully agreed to help with running "exclurad" which should definitely take care of this).
Since I myself am not so well aware of all the peculiarities of exclusive analyses, I propose that ONE of YOU (the "to" addresses of this email) organizes this effort - maybe by having meetings on the Wednesdays where there is presently no EG1 meeting, or any other way you want to get organized. I'm willing to help if needed, but hope for a volunteer to take over the main "organizing".
