Dear Colleagues,
It now appears certain that due to the budget situation in FY08 the
startup of the accelerator will be delayed by one month. This also
affects the startup of the endstation refrigerator which will not be
available before October 1. Therefore, all work requiring
superconducting magnets in the Hall will be delayed accordingly. In
particular, the start of e1-dvcs will be delayed and the entire run
schedule shifted accordingly. There is also the distinct possibility
that the number of scheduled experiment weeks in FY09 will be further
reduced, contingent upon the length of the continuing budget resolution
in 2009.
