As some of you may have heard, Hugh Montgomery will visit next week to begin learning more about Jefferson Lab. It will be the first of many visits Mont plans to make before his official start on September 2.
One of his top priorities is to meet you (staff and users). To facilitate that process, we will hold a series of three meetings in the CEBAF Center auditorium on Tuesday, April 29. During the meetings, Mont will make a few remarks and take questions from the audience. Each meeting will be no longer than 45 minutes.
To ensure that we have adequate seating available for the meetings, we're going to divide the staff alphabetically.
All those with surnames beginning A through F will meet at 10:00.
G-M will meet at 11:00 and N-Z will meet at 3:00.
If a work assignment or shift prevents you from attending your assigned meeting, you should feel free to attend another session. But please note that seating will be tight.
I look forward to seeing you at the meetings and to introducing Mont to all of you.
