Dear Friends of the SHMS,
The 12-GeV Upgrade Project underwent a Lehman review for CD-3 over the
last three days, and the preliminary (verbal) report was presented this
morning.
Hall-C and the SHMS came through very well with no "comments" or
"recommendations". Great news! The overall project did very well, too.
Now, hopefully, we can look forward to a formal approval of "CD-3", which
will allow us to proceed with the construction phase of the Upgrade.
My sincere thanks go to all of you who patiently supplied me with
details and support over the weeks (months!) of preparation for this
review. I appreciate the opportunity to present YOUR work! If you
would like to look over the presentations that Paul Brindza and I
