SIMC and Fedora follow-up

Hi again SIMC users -

This is an update on compiling SIMC using the Absoft compiler. jlabl1
will be upgraded from RHEL3 to RHEL5 on October 7, and the Absoft
compiler will no longer be available on that machine. However, ifarml2
(a RHEL3 machine) has been re-enabled for limited login (not for general
access). If you know you will need to compile SIMC, please send a note
to the JLab computing helpdesk requesting that your login to ifarml2 be
enabled for this purpose.

As noted before, you will only need to compile SIMC on a RHEL3 machine -
once compiled you should be able to run on any of the JLab Fedora or
RHEL5 machines.

    Regards,
    Dave
