some people who don't yet have their Netscape Calendar e-mail enabled]
I'd like to begin planning for a general upgrade of all operational iocs
to incorporate the following changes:
1. New e2sr
2. New EPICS version
3. A version of vxwrks that is compatible with both the PowerPC and the
mv1XX series simultaneously.
We want to plan this upgrade so it won't be too disruptive either to us
or to ops. We don't have any real time constraints as we did with going
to R313 but we need to make steady progress on it.
At this meeting we will discuss:
* the status of the e2sr project (Brian, George, and Al)
* which version of EPICS should we use for the upgrade (3.13.2 with
some or all the most recent patches?)
* Is it possible to have a single vxwrks kernel that will work for all
cpu types? (Matt, Richard)
* List of what needs to be done to accomplish the upgrade and assign
any action items as determined.
