The new Control System Unix Environment team is starting work on setting
up a development environment for Unix applications. Please e-mail me
with any applications that you have written or that you support which
run on the Unix machines rather than on the IOCs so we can include those
applications in our discussion. Please include a one-line description of
what the application does and indicate whether the application only gets
information from the control system, get and sets information from the
control system, or does not directly access the control system.
