On the question of converting applications to use the new e2sr:
* Applications will be upgraded as they are changed (or sooner if the
application developer wants to).
* The mkNewapp script will be modified to use the new e2sr by Sally
* Brian will make a web page with the modification instructions.
On the question of upgrading to the latest non-Beta version of EPICS:
* The System team and the Low Level Apps team will converge on using
the same version of EPICS (from the same place) rather than maintaining
a System version of EPICS (currently 3.13.1) and a separate version for
Low Level Apps (currently, 3.13Beta12)
* Brian and Dave will work on getting over the latest version and
integrating any local changes needed by both teams.
* Sally will work on integrating the PowerPC changes made by Alicia
(if they are needed). Alicia will advise her.
* We will defer planning on upgrading iocs until the new EPICS version
is ready.
On the question of using a single version of EPICS to support both the
PowerPC and the 68000 boards:
* Matt said that he would not be able to get an integrated product out
of Wind River until VxWorks 4.0 was available.
* In the meantime, Sally (with Alicia's help) will modify the EPICS
config files to add a "whichVxWorks" feature to automate using the
correct set of cross-compilers.
