The extended A32 address space for Power PCs is actually smaller than
for MV167/177. The
space starts at 0x08000000 and runs to 0x0fffffff; these map to
0x10000000 - 0x17ffffff in
local space. The A32 offsets currently in the file
/cs/DOC/epics/VMEaddress-CEBAF need
to be changed to reflect this mapping for the Power PC. Working with
Richard and Sally, I
have added addresses in this file for Power PC use. These addresses will
allow the same vx
kernel to be used on all Power PCs.
Please review these additions if you have any apps which require A32
space - you only have
to look at the few lines at the end of the file (under EXT I/O:). Note
that the addresses for the
Max Video are also used in other apps. This is because: (1) we need the
space; (2) the max
video is always a stand alone app, so no conflict is expected. Also, I
removed the HiDEOS
memory space as this is no longer used.
