Dear PrimEx colleagues,
I have made a preliminary study about the phase-shift angle between the Coulomb
and Nuclear Coherent amplitudes for pi0 photoproduction on Carbon and Lead. The
results include FSI and accommodate the PrimEx kinematics. The bottom line is
that the Carbon and Lead phase-shifts are consistent with each other within
approximately 5 %, suggesting the idea of performing a simultaneous fitting for
a single phase-shift parameter!

I believe that the collaboration effort is concentrated on the PAC 34 proposal
up to the middle of December, but I appreciate the feedback whenever the pi0
analysis is resumed.
Due to conflicts, I will no be able to access our weekly meeting up to the next
month, but I will be happy to discuss this important issue on the web.
