PrimEx Software meeting minutes
Dec. 14, 2004
Attending: Mark I., Eric C. Yelena P., Ilia L., Mikhail K., David L.
Nominate secretary: David Lawrence
Approve minutes of previous meeting: Approved
- DST, pedestal skim, LMS skims all done and on DST cache disk.
(EPICS and Clock skims have yet to be done.)
- Were MOR-prescaled events included in production data? Ilia
will check and if so, determine at what fraction.
- Physics skims: Ilia suggests a physics skim where we keep events
in which some combination of two cluster events has an invariant
mass of at least 90MeV. Mark and Ilia will explore it further to
see if it is a significant reduction from the existing skims.
- Need someone to volunteer for writing time access routines. These
are to access the time as in wall-clock time, of every event
from either the begining of the run or possibly, the run period.
This does not include the detector timing within the event.
(Dave will consult, but cannot do it himself)
- HYCAL timing: Eric will work on this. He has started and has a
good idea of what to do next. Ilia already has some constants
that can be used to initially populate a caldb entry (one it is
created)
- Ilia showed plots of HYCAL resolution for individual detectors.
ROC4 was clearly worse. The best crystals (from the good ROCs)
were about 1.5% for 2.5GeV photons
- Next meeting time TBA.
