This workshop is the 3rd in a series of meetings intended to help guide the evolution of an FEL facility at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory. This NHMFL-FEL is itself an ongoing collaboration between Florida State, Jefferson Lab, UCSB, and others.
This particular workshop will focus on the scientific opportunities afforded by the combination of FEL light sources and high magnetic fields. It is critical to have input at this stage to refine the operating parameters of the FEL. It is also hoped that lively discussions will stimulate novel applications of the unique combination of state-of-the-art high magnetic fields and a 4th generation light source.
