Driving Directions
Driving Directions to the College of William and Mary
The following directions are to the parking lot. Once there follow the signage directions to the University Center. Parking passes are required and will be provided electronically prior to arrival.
From the South and East (e.g. Virginia Beach, Norfolk)
- From Interstate 64 West, exit on the right at 242A, Route 199 West (Busch Gardens, Jamestown).
- Drive about 5 miles, then turn right at Jamestown Road (Route 5 East).
- Drive about a mile, then turn left at Ukrop Drive.
- Take the first left to stay on Ukrop Drive.
- After about one-third a mile, turn right on Yates Drive.
- At the stop sign, turn right on Gooch Drive.
- Follow Gooch until you see the parking lot on your left.
- Park in spaces marked Conference Services 15-minute parking". Lodge 6 will be up the hill to the right of the Sadler Center.
From the North and West (e.g. D.C., Richmond)
- From Interstate 64 East, exit on the right at 234, Route 199 East; turn right onto Route 199 at the bottom of the ramp.
- Drive about 6 miles, then exit on the right at Monticello Avenue (Route 321 East).
- At the bottom of the ramp, turn left at the stop light onto Monticello Avenue.
- Drive about 1 mile, passing through three stop lights, then turn right onto Compton Road (there should be a sign for William and Mary).
- Drive about half a mile, passing a large parking lot on your left (William and Mary Hall will be on the right). Turn right on Ukrop Drive.
- Take the first left onto Yates Drive.
- Go to the stop sign and turn right on Gooch Drive.
- Follow Gooch until you see the parking lot on your left.
- Park in spaces marked Conference Services 15-minute parking". Lodge 6 will be up the hill to the right of the Sadler Center.

From the South and East (e.g. Virginia Beach, Norfolk)
- From Interstate 64 West, exit on the right at 242A, Route 199 West (Busch Gardens, Jamestown).
- Drive about 4 miles, then turn right onto South Henry Street (Route 132 North).
- Drive about 1.5 miles, then turn left onto South Boundary Street.
- Drive about half a mile, then turn left onto Richmond Road.
- Drive another half mile; just after Scotland Street, the hotel will be on the right.
From the North and West (e.g. D.C., Richmond)
- From Interstate 64 East, exit on the right at 238 (Camp Peary, Colonial Williamsburg). At the end of the ramp, merge right onto Route 143 East.
- Drive about half a mile, then turn right at the light onto Route 132 South.
- Drive about 1.5 miles; where the road branches, bear right toward Williamsburg downtown.
- Drive another half mile, over the railroad tracks, then turn right at the second light onto Scotland Street.
- Drive 3 blocks to the stoplight at Richmond Road; the hotel will be on the right.
