George Neil officially retired from Jefferson Lab in mid-July, after 27 years of Service to the Laboratory.

On September 27, 2017 we will gather in CEBAF Center Auditorium to review, discuss, and honor some of the world leading projects that he has been involved with, stretching back to the initial Free Electron Laser (FEL) work at Stanford. In particular, the development of the energy recovered lasers at Jefferson Lab will be reviewed. You are all cordially invited to attend and bring your remembrances and good wishes to George.
