We present preliminary results of measurements of the reaction ep\to e' n \pi^+ in the nucleon resonance region. Data were taken at electron beam energies of 1.6, 2.4, and 4.0 GeV on a liquid H_2 target. When fully analyzed, the high statistics and the large angular coverage of the detector will allow us to perform a complete partial wave analysis that will yield transition form factors for several resonance states with masses up to 1.7 GeV/c^2. Single \pi^+ production is especially sensitive to many of the high mass resonances due to the large \piN branching ratio and the isospin 1/2 nature of several states in the second and third resonance regions. In the \Delta(1232) region the ratio E2/M1 will be obtained by analyzing the n\pi^+ data in conjunction with data for the reaction ep \to e'p \pi^0.
