The Chief Scientist and Associate Director for Theoretical and Computational Physics leads the internationally recognized theory group. He also contributes to guiding the ongoing 6 GeV physics program, the planned 12 GeV Upgrade, Jefferson Lab's role in the national Lattice QCD collaboration, and the Lab's long range planning. The Chief Scientist helps shape the future of the laboratory and its nuclear physics program.
