Dave is a safety and health program manager at the Department of Energy's office at the Jefferson Lab. As a program manager, Dave negotiates and administers the contract for his respective areas of responsibility and authority. Dave is DOE’s representative for radiation and fire programs, accelerator safety, integrated safety management, contractor assurance systems, Price-Anderson Amendments Act, occurrence reporting, corporate operating experience program, and employee concerns program.
Dave came from the Los Alamos Site Office where he spent most of his time deployed to various nuclear and other high hazard operations. Dave also spent ten years at Norfolk Naval Shipyard working as a nuclear and environmental engineer. Dave has an engineering degree from Ohio University and has been a DOE Facility Representative, Federal Project Director, and Contracting Officer Representative.
