Mr. Mallette is the Deputy Manager for the Site Office. Mr. Mallette began his career in 1981, as an Officer in the U.S. Air Force managing research and development projects for the Department of Defense (DOD). He went on to help establish the environmental cleanup program for the Air Force in Ohio. He then served as a manager of projects for a leading architectural-engineering firm overseeing projects in the Midwest and southeast U.S. He also served as the Director of the Operations Management Division for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science (SC), Site Office at Brookhaven National Laboratory.

As the Deputy Site Office Manager, he has responsibilities in Site Office management, overseeing various aspects of the contractor's performance measurement; environmental, health and safety; facilities management; operational awareness; project and business management.

Mr. Mallette holds an M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Dayton, B.S. in Engineering and B.S. in Environmental Science both from Purdue University. He is also a graduate of J.F.K. School of Government-Leadership for the 21st Century and the Federal Executive Institute.
