Mission:
Our mission is to ensure, through partnership with the Management and Operating contractor, the successful conduct of the research mission of the laboratory. As such, we negotiate and administer the contract for the operation of the laboratory; provide technical and administrative direction, guidance, oversight, and evaluation; represent the Department of Energy (DOE) with regulators and stakeholders; and serve as the Laboratory's advocate within the DOE and with others.
Vision:
Partnering with our sponsors and customers, we provide enabling support to further the laboratory's mission to operate a world class user facility for conducting nuclear physics research.
