Brian Eng

Brian began at Jefferson Lab as a student, while pursuing a BS in both Computer Engineering and Computer Science at Christopher Newport University. After graduation, Brian joined Jefferson Lab as an Engineer.

Brian's early work focused on developing LabVIEW applications for the Low Voltage system of CLAS drift chambers and for the Hardware Monitoring System. Brian developed a finer grain segmentation system for the DC system using FPGAs and microcontrollers. Recently his work has been focused on the Silicon Vertex Tracker (SVT) for Hall B, including low level R&D of the DAQ system.

Prior to Jefferson Lab, Brian worked at NASA Langley Research Center for the GIS Team integrating spatial data with GPS Surveys.
