Speaker: Avraham S. Rinat (Weizmann Institute of Science) Title: Tortuous Ways to the Extraction of Neutron Observables from Inclusive Lepton Scattering Abstract: New data on inclusive cross sections of unpolarized electrons in several targets JLab exp. E03-102) have been analyzed on their potential to extract $G_M^n$ and $F_2^n$. We have used exactly the same tools as in the analysis of older data, which produced at the time the desired information from different kinematics. When plotted on a a log scale, calculations for total cross sections agree with data on the inelastic side of the QE. Since there inelastic processes (NI)dominate we trust their calculated values. We analyzed the QE parts, once as [data-NI], then as an expression in terms of form factors. Ideally those should agree. Except for a few points those two disagree, frequently very much so. This seems to point at incompatibility of the old and new data. For the same reason one cannot extract $F_2^n$. We then analyzed the CLAS collaboration data on $F_2^{p,D}$ and could obtain the above $n$ properties. We discuss the above problem and general status.
