We will discuss the formalism of describing the role of higher spin resonances in photoproduction processes. In particular, we pay focus on the relationship between the coupling constants of effective Lagrangian and quark model predictions. The role of high spin resonances in the photoproduction of Xi and Sigma* will be discussed. In addition, there will be short introduction of the plan of Basic Science Institute in Korea and its KoRIA (Korean Rare Isotope Accelerator) facility.
