I present an approach to calculate 'kinematic' power corrections to DVCS. Topics covered are: 1) Rigorous separation of 'kinematic' and 'dynamic' higher-twists 2) Technique to calculate LO contributions based on conformal symmetry 3) Gauge and translation invariance 4) QCD factorization of kinematic power corrections to twist-4 accuracy 5) Numerical estimates for the size of such corrections in helicity amplitudes and (preliminary) Compton form factors
