Cybersecurity: Onsite user management The cybersecurity program is managed in conformance with DOE and JLab policies. Everyone who uses a computer on site must ensure the machine conforms to JLab's computer management policies. All machines that have the capability must run anti-virus software with current virus signatures. This requirement includes personal laptops. Anti-virus software is particularly important for portable machines that may be exposed to insecure environments. Use password-controlled screensavers to lock screens and keboards of unattended machines. All machines are subject to vulnerability scanning by the Security Team and may be removed from the network if deficiencies are found. GO TO:     Home | Previous | Next
