    Jefferson Lab Residence Facility

    Private guest rooms are comfortably furnished like any modern hotel room. Each one is fully equipped with telephone, climate controls and cable television. Telephone service includes free local calls and voice mail. Computer terminals and workstations are available in all rooms, as well as in the central great room. Premium room packages include in-room refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer and complimentary toiletries. Common areas open to all guests include a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, laundry facilities and the great room. Snack and soda machines are located adjacent to the common areas, which are accessible by residents 24 hours a day. From the guest rooms, visitors have only a short stroll to all areas of the laboratory. The on site Jefferson Lab cafeteria is open weekdays for breakfast, lunch and snacks.

    Room Rates are:

      Single - $36.50 USD per night (tax included)
      Premium - $41 USD per night (tax included)
      Extended Stay (7 or more consecutive nights) – $32 USD per night (tax included)
      For 2 occupants add $10 USD per night

    Transportation:

    By air: There are three nearby airports that serve the Newport News area:

    All airports have taxi and limousine service available on site.

    By rail: Newport News is served by Amtrak from Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Richmond with daily service.

    By automobile: Jefferson Lab is easily accessible from Interstate 64 (exit 255 A), about midway between the cities of Williamsburg and Norfolk. Directions to Jefferson Lab.
