205.09 Employee Recreation Committee
- CHARGE
- The Laboratory Employee Recreation Committee is charged with reviewing the Laboratory's existing Employee Recreation
Program and proposing revisions to the Directors Council. Program criteria to be considered include:
- Economy and efficiency (number of employees likely to benefit, vs cost)
- Laboratory priorities
- Scope (program frequency, complexity and resources involved).
- The Committee also recommends annual allocations within the Employer Recreation budget for each priority event.
- MEMBERSHIP
- The Committee membership must offer membership to at least one representative each from the Director's Office, Laboratory
Divisions and the Offices of Project Management and Technical Performance.
- Membership must fully reflect the Laboratory's diversity.
- Representatives serve two year terms, with half of the representatives rotating off the Committee each year.
- At its first meeting each year, the Committee elects a chair from its membership to serve a one-year term.
