Workshop Dinner

The ERL Workshop dinner will be held at the world renowned Mariners' Museum in Newport News, Virginia. One of the largest and finest maritime history institutions in the world, the museum is home to more than 35,000 artifacts. Must-see highlights include the exquisite Miniature Ships of August F. Crabtree, the artifacts and archives of the Civil War ironclad USS Monitor, and the Peter W. Ifland Collection of Navigation Instruments that contains 169 navigation pieces covering five centuries.

Buses will leave Jefferson Lab at 1730 to transport you to the museum. A reception from 1800 to 1900 will allow ample time to tour the galleries at your leisure. Docents will be on hand to provide informal guidance and answer questions. Dinner will follow at 1900.

The workshop dinner is included in the registration fee. Additional tickets for companions may be purchased for $50 through the online registration page or by contacting Cynthia Lockwood at lockwood@jlab.org.
