    Housing

    Room blocks have been reserved at two on-campus locations, Monarch House and Powhatan Village Apartments. Both facilities are located within walking distance of the conference site. All rooms are air-conditioned, fully furnished, and will be supplied with clean linens at check-in. There will be no housekeeping services during the conference but laundry facilities are available at each facility. All rooms are non-smoking. The rate for all rooms is $30/night, single occupancy, inclusive.

    Monarch House
    offers private hotel-style rooms. Each room has one double bed, private bath, microwave and refrigerator. Attendees traveling with spouses or companions may stay at this facility for an additional $20/night.

    Powhatan Village Apartments
    offers two-bedroom shared suites. Each bedroom has two single beds. Each suite has a shared living/dining area with small kitchen and 1½ baths. Guests staying at Powhatan Village will have a private bedroom but will be expected to share the suite with another attendee.

    Room assignments will be made by the conference organizers on a first-come, first-serve, space-available basis. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences but reserve the right to make the final decision.

    Please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible. A valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. All reservations, changes and cancellations must be made by 5 p.m. EST on Friday May 14, 2004. No refunds will be made after that time. The full cost of your lodging will be charged to your credit card will be charged before the start of the conference. We will be unable to accept reservations after May 14.

    Onsite lodging is available for conference attendees from Tuesday June 1, 2004, through Sunday morning June 6, 2004. Check-in time begins at 9:00 daily. Check-out time is 4:00 p.m. Keys and key cards must be returned at check-out or a $15 fee will be charged.
