    Workshop Highlights:

    • Registration

      • Registration will begin at 7:00 am on Monday, July 17th in CEBAF Center (site of all workshop talks) and will continue through the registration reception scheduled for Monday evening. Tuesday registration will begin at 7:00 am in CEBAF Center.

    • Opening Registration Reception

      • There will be an opening registration reception starting at 6:00 pm, Monday, July 17th on site at Jefferson Lab.

    • BBQ Collaboration Dinner

      • There will be a BBQ Collaboration Dinner for workshop participants on Wednesday, July 19th on site at Jefferson Lab. Companions may attend by purchasing a ticket for $25 USD.

    • Workshop Summary Banquet

      • The acclaimed Mariners’ Museum will be the site of the workshop summary banquet on Friday evening, July 21st (www.mariner.org/mariner). Companions may attend by purchasing a ticket for $45 USD. Student registration does not include the banquet.

    • Companions Information Coffee

      • A companions coffee will be held Tuesday morning, July 18th from 9:00 – 10:00 am in the Residence Facility great room on site at Jefferson Lab to provide companions the opportunity to meet each other, to ask questions, and to receive information about the Lab and the surrounding areas of interest.

    • Daily Lunches

      • Daily lunch tickets (up to $6 USD) will be provided to participants for use in the Jefferson Lab cafeteria during the workshop.

    • Computers

      • Computers for participants’ use will be available during the workshop.

    • Tours, etc:

      • The workshop schedule includes a tour of the Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility and the Free Electron Laser at the Jefferson Lab site in Newport News. Tours will be offered during the lunch break on three workshop days. Participants will need to sign up at the registration desk for tours.

      Information on tours, excursions and local places of interest will be available at the registration desk and will be discussed at the Companions Coffee.
