Green Procurement: for all office supply requirements please use JLab Intra-Net commerce, http://esac.jlab.org/stock.html, to place your orders.
For your convenience, to easily identify Green products, separate vendor catalogs for recycled content and environmentally friendly products are available on the e-commerce site. Two vendors have recycled content product catalogs that include a full range of Green products. The JLab PCard should only be used for urgent office supply requirements.
For FY'03 there are two recycled content office products, binders and plastic transparencies/document protectors that we must focus on. Less than 50% of these products purchased in FY'02 met the recycled content standards. Green products for these items are readily available on JLab's e-commerce site. Please select environmentally preferable products when making binder and plastic transparencies/document protectors purchases.
