Reminder: 2007 JSA Thesis Prize Applications due in 1 week, January 21, 2008 - a message from Ron Gilman
Following recent practice, the UGBoD expects to award the 2007 JSA Thesis Prize at the summer 2008 User Group Meeting, for the best Jefferson Lab related thesis. The prize is sponsored by JSA, a SURA/CSC company that is the management contractor for Jefferson Lab. Please consider nominating people who have already defended during 2007 or who will defend their theses by the end of the year. (People who defended in calendar year 2006, but were not previously nominated for the Prize, are also eligible.) Please send Rachel Harris a brief nomination note, along with a copy of the thesis and three letters of recommendation, preferably electronically, by January 31, 2008. The Prize includes a $2000 award, and an invitation to talk on the work at the 2008 summer meeting.
