Visiting JLab - a message from Sue Ewing
This is a reminder message for all foreign national JLab users. Please be sure to email jris@jlab.org ahead of time for all visits to ensure your access badge is activated and your training is current before your arrival. You will receive an email response stating your badge activation, any training updates, and an attached visit form to complete and return by email or you can bring to the front desk in the VARC upon arrival. If you are a foreign national in the U.S. and have not re-entered the U.S. since your last JLab visit or have not received new or updated immigration documents, you do not have to physically check-in at the VARC desk but your badge will not work unless we have received an email for that visit.
If you are just entering the U.S., have left the U.S. and re-entered since your last JLab visit and have a new I-94 card, or received new or updated visa documents, then you will need to come to the VARC front desk and check-in upon arrival.
