Beam Test Run Plan for Light Monitoring System ---------------------------------------------- After the HYCAL0 calibration the following should be done for LMS test: 1. Set the beam spot on on of the central PbWO in a group of 5x5 calibrated crystals. High Voltage variation test --------------------------- 2. Calibrate the central crystal at nominal voltage HVo 3. Change the HV on the central crystal: HVo+/-1%, 3%, 5% Take data ~100 K events at each step. 4. Set the HV on the central crystal equal to HVo Repeat the step 3. for the four surrounding crystals keeping the central at HVo 5. Repeat 3. on the crystal bellow the central one. Gain vs Rate measurement. -------------------------- 6. Return to the central crystal, set HV = HVo 7. Increase the beam current until the peak at 5 GeV changes by 1%, 3%, 5% ----------------------------------------------------------- 8. Return to the initial conditions, repeat the calibration of the central crystal. ---------------------------------------------------------- S.
