Evening Shift, Sunday, August 25, 2002
16:30PM MCC found
16:25PM Beam tuned to Hall.
Radiator C in. asked for 2 nA.
Rates are OK, go back to 5 nA.

17:20 Run plan meetings ends. Schedule drawn up for the rest of the run, and decision is made to ask Bernard for additional night shifts during the coming week.

17:27 Plateau pair spectrometer apparently done, plateau tagger impossible, moving on.

17:35 Tagger harp scan done. Looks good. Beam suspended to insert converter.

17:37 Radiator is in. Target 10^-5 is in. Beam resumed, 5 nA requested.

17:42 DAQ runs started.

run 750 nominal dipol current 1800 A
run 751 current 1620 A
run 752 current 1440 A
run 753 current 1980 A
run 754 current 2160 A

18:35 Initial data analysis complete. The first 16 E-counters aren't registering so the hall is going to controlled access for Eugene to go fix 'em.

18:50 E-counters are plugged back in - they work better that way.

19:32 MCC calls & prepares to send us 5 nA beam.

20:02 Beam stabilises - DAQ resumes.

20:05 Start run 755, dipole current 1800 A. Trigger is PS only.
run 756 dipole @ 1620 A
run 757 dipole @ 1440 A
run 758 dipole @ 1980 A
Trigger Supervisor crate rebooted
run 759 dipole @ 1980 A
run 760 dipole @ 2160 A
run 761 junk, DAQ crashed
run 762 dipole @ 1800 A
run 763 dipole @ 1620 A
run 764 dipole @ 1440 A

run 765 redid 1800 A

21:40 beam goes down during the last dipole run (#766 - 1890 A).

22:20 MCC calls and announces intention to start sending beam again.

22:57 Stable beam in Hall.

23:09 Took out target and radiator, requested 1 nAmp for TAC tests

23:10 Radiator D in.

23:14 Putting TAC in.

23:15 TAC in, 100 pAmps.

23:16 Trigger changed to TAC.

23:22 No hits from TAC - cable checking commences.

23:28 Controlled Access requested to check TAC connections.

23:57 Info from folks in hall indicates that the TAC isn't centered on the beam, and the software either uncalibrated or the thing was bumped. Eugene is looking into the expert GUI / motor control to get the TAC into the beam.

24:00 Shift ends. Bruno, David Lawrence & Dan Dale are still in the hall.
