Review of Collaboration Meeting
- We noted with regret that there was no final decision made to create a webpage for accessing transparencies presented at the meeting.
- Dustin re-emphasized the idea of doing a crude but complete analysis as soon as possible, rather than waiting for the final tools to be developed.
- We thought that the main holding points for a crude analysis right now are
- flux measurement
- dead-time corrections
- methods for using veto counter information
New Software Release Needed
Mark will try to produce one this week.
LMS Gain Corrections
Dustin reported that obtaining reliable corrections from the LMS
system will be much more complicated than originally anticipated. Some
systematic studies will have to be performed before we can have
confidence in a calibration scheme which uses the LMS. Ilya and he are working on this.
EPICS Skims
Dustin is close to producing a database table that will allow access
to all of the EPICS information written in the data stream. He is also
producing a PrimEx notes describing this project.
New Meeting Time and Place
We will be meeting every Wednesday at 1:00 pm in Trailer City, room
84. The number there is (757)269-7936.
