Short summary of the Software technical meeting (2005-July-07).

1. Short questions:

• Errors in coding:
• 2 errors were fixed;
  
• DAQ error - Dave will be available next week for discussion.
• Exceptions: Mark  will create procedure to work with exceptions.

2. The progress in Compton data analysis Summary: (Elena - see note)

• The error in alignment procedure was found.
• The left-right asymmetry is smaller.
• We are close to do Compton calibration.
• Need to finish Elena staff.
• Add vertical coordinate for minimizing Delta phi-180 difference.
• Need to compare with beam position monitors (epics variables are really important)
• Need to compare with harp scans (another task for students)

3. New shower reconstruction algorythm and chi^2 were introducted and discussed (see note)

4. Cross-check and organization of timing links Summary of discussion:

•     The cluster-cluster and cluster-tagger links must be modified. Vasily and Dustin will think about it and will propose new structure and organization.
  
•     It is beteer to use this (cluster-cluster and cluster-tagger) functionality in different manner:
•     use it inside hist_fill routine or
•     to have configuration file for user to change required parameters and/or cuts for timing selection.
