Proposal
Dan suggested that for a new run, we could take advantage of the updated data acquisition rate capability in Hall B by reading out more of the tagger.
Liping has circluated an outline for a proposal. It remains to divide up the tasks outlined there. She points out that issues are:
- run plan (including choice of targets)
- justification for more running
- report of where we are with existing data
- beamline
- calibration
- Hycal-related improvments
- cluster
- LMS
- veto for Compton measurement
Liping also mentioned that there will be a meeting over the Thanksgiving holiday to discuss the proposal.
Analysis Review
Liping has proposed a system where readers for a particular topic must read all of the analysis notes that deal with that topic so that comparisons are possible among the reviewers and a global summary of the topic can be written. This will also be very useful for the proposal (as mentioned above). See Liping's recent email for details.
Update on Pair Production
Aram gave a summary of his latest results on pair production. See his his slides for details.
He explained that the photon energy is added to the electron energy in the radiative correction theory. This might have something to do with the descreprency at high x = Ee / Eγ.
