Omega production

Tulio reported on his recent efforts on this topic

• some slides in preparation
• omega production: one of the most important issues for PrimEx
• redoing analysis of coherent and incoherent omega production
• using data from Rochester from 70’s, unpublished, photoproduction, bremsstrahlung
• calculation fits data very well
• angular distributions in preparation
• presentation in a week or two
• production in lead is large
• fit with three components
  1. coherent
  2. isobar excitation
  3. incoherent production nuclear break-up

Eta paper

Tulio announced publication of a paper by him and collaborators on eta photoproduction

• overlap with primex physics
• possibly relevant for hall d
• accepted for publication by prl
• re-analysis of Cornell data

• detector paper: add Liping to list, decide on who is responsible
