PrimEx group meeting on Friday, June 6, 2008

1. The minutes for the previous meeting was approved.

2. Dustin promised to write a note on the HYCAL geometry and cluster definition.

3. It is important for PrimEx collaborators actively participating the Friday meeting. Mark will contact several key collaborators regarding to their preferred time, so that we can involve more people in the meeting.

4. Ilya presented his pi0 analysis. He will submit an updated analysis note by June 12.

• He showed that the pi0 lifetime extraction has no strong dependence on the range of the fitting angles. Dustin also agreed with Ilya. This is different from Eric's statement at the May collaboration meeting.
• Ilya used several different ways to reconstruct the pi0 production angle. The pi0 lifetime extracted from the different yield spectra varies by about 1%

5. Tulio presented his new calculations on omega background for carbon and lead targets.

6. Discussion for the paper publications was delayed to June 13 meeting

7. The next secretary is Subhash.
