keyword=Beam Position StripToolsFigure 1 and 2 show the beam position StripTools with the BPM
positions in X and Y, respectively along with the cavity position
signals. More time was spent working on the X phase. First there
was an asymmetry between +2mm and -2mm positions in terms of the phases. We eventually settled on +/- 105 degrees to balance the two.
Second MCC had some problems at the when I asked them the scan the
beam position from postive to negative. They took me too
literally when I said I want a particular position. I think for
furture reference it might be better to have someone over in MCC to
clarify any possible misunderstandings.
