directions to the lake house:
Take I-80,the Ohio Turnpike, to the 3rd Toledo Exit for US-23 North (do not take the I-280 shortcut in Toledo as it is under construction). Follow it across the OH/MI border to exit 5, US-223 West and go ~36 miles to Round Lake Highway (it only goes north). If you hit US-127 you've gone too far.
The house is on a small private road not shown on most maps – go about 2.7 mi you'll see a few mailboxes and Oak Lane on the west (left) side. If you hit US12, you've gone too far. Turn into Oak Lane and follow it slowly past a few houses – when you enter the woods look for the 2nd driveway on your left, it has a BEARD sign, and follow the driveway – it has makes a circle near the house and garage.
If you overshoot and hit US-127, go right (north) to US-12; go right (east) on US-12 to Round Lake Highway and take it right (south).

Take I-75 south and exit at Warren.
Go to the light (Warren) and turn right (west).
Proceed west on Warren and turn south (left) onto Cass Ave.

Take I-75 north and exit at Warren.
Go to the light (Warren) and turn left (west)

north & northwest: take I-96 east to I-94 east
Take I-94 east and exit at Trumbull
Go to the light (Trumbull) and turn right (south)
Proceed south to the light (Warren) and turn left (east) onto Warren
turn right (south) on Cass Ave.
go 1 block & turn right onto Hancock St – continue about 1 block

Take I-94 west to John R/Woodward exit (right side).
Continue on the service drive and cross Woodward Avenue.
Once you have crossed Woodward, you will be on Antoinette.
Take Antoinette to Cass and turn left (south).
go south on Cass Ave. and turn right (west) onto Hancock
