Jefferson Lab experiment E00-112 was proposed to study hyperon production with a 6-GeV electron beam in Hall B with the CLAS spectrometer. The measurement program includes cross sections and spin observables and is part of a larger scale project to fully understand the reaction mechanism for this process.
