NEW! MARIACHI parts information (MS Word)

In July 2005, Peter Muhoro, a Hampton University alumnus (BS Physics, 2005) and UNIPHY student, went to the University of Zambia and worked with members of the Physics Department to construct a MARIACHI passive radar array for detection of cosmic ray air-showers. This is the first SHARE apparatus installed in the Southern Hemisphere.

This work is supported, in part, by the National Science Foundation, the Center for the study of the Origin and Structure of Matter, and Hampton University.
