heep_final

Hee'p for final ntuples 03/15/06


The SOS matrices were changed from default, depending on spcentral, and the new satcorr was applied to the 900 and default matrices.  Here is how the heep runs look after the changes.

The positions of the peak shifted (by a lot in some cases) compared to the plots before these changes, so the heep offsets need to be calculated again.


Repeat of Hee'p analysis for final ntuples 03/15/06


The Hee'p offsets were fit again.  Rather than replay the heep runs again, the offsets were calculated on top of the existing offsets.  Here is the results table

These offsets are to be applied in addition to the existing offsets.  The parameterized (fit) values were used rather than the heep determined values for dp_ss and dssxptar as determined here.

Now I see what went wrong, the dssxptar offset was somehow erased in the final ntuples.  This is actually due to a change in the analyzer since the initial hee'p analysis.  Initially, I corrected the variable ssxp_tar, which then changed ssxptar in the ntuple.  I then changed this to correct ssxp_tar_temp.  ssxptar_temp is used to calculate physics quantities like the missing mass, but it does not change ssxptar in the ntuple.

So, the problem is not in the final ntuples, but rather in the kumac I used to analyze the hee'p offsets.  The solution was to add the dssxptar offsets determined previously to the kumac.

The dp_ss offset of 0.9 at the 5766MeV setting is due to the parameterization of dp_ss and will be ignored.
