Acceptance cuts 06/28/06
We should have the window defined by the acceptance cuts large enough
such that the collimator defines the acceptance. We currently use
the acceptance cuts
abs(hsyptar)<0.04.and.abs(hsxptar)<0.07.and.abs(hsdelta)<8.0
abs(ssyptar)<0.07.and.abs(ssxptar)<0.04.and.abs(ssdelta-2.5)<12.5
In XEM, the hsxptar acceptance cut was slightly wider,
abs(hsxptar)<0.075.
Below are the SIMC (blue) and data (red) distributions together with
the acceptance cuts (dashed lines). This was the hydrogen
production run at the lowest Q2.
From the plots below, it seems that the hsxptar cuts should be enlarged
slightly. It is also strange that the tails in hsyptar do not
match very well. This is most likely because the edges in hsyptar
are not kinematically allowed and this is just resolution
effects. This would also explain why the full acceptance in
hsyptar (+-0.04 rad) is not filled.
