SIMC infiles/ with offsets 03/21/06
- The saturation corrected spcentral was used in the infiles
- The corrected values determined during the hee'p analysis were
used for the hpcentral, h_thetacentral and s_thetacentral
- The hms oop and sos oop values were inserted into the
infiles. For example, in the PARAM/hmsflags.param file, the hms
xptar offset was 1.1 mrad. This was put into the infiles as
spec.p.offset.xptar = 1.1. Similarly, the sos xptar offset
was put into the infiles without changing the sign.
- The targ.zoffset was previously included in the infiles (0.23 cm)
and is the position of the target (downstream is positive).
- The targ.xoffset and targ.yoffset were determined using the
positions of the beam
in the lab frame as determined by the 'calibrated' BPM's.
- targ.xoffset = (BPM determined labx position of the beam)
- targ.yoffset = - (BPM determined laby position of the beam)
- a positive targ.xoffset makes the beam in SIMC move toward the
HMS
- a positive targ.yoffset makes the beam in SIMC move above the
target
- The spectrometer x offsets were kept at zero.
- The spectrometer y offsets were determined by looking at the mean
ytar of the experimental data with
the z=0 target, and calculating where the vertex should be using the
BPM's. The value used in the infiles was -(ytar_reconstructed -
ytar_expected).
- The spectrometer yptar offsets were kept at zero.
