View of the target holder:
The target holder we are using in Genova is a copy for size and characteristics of the Cebaf target cell. The container is a PCTFE cylinder (15.0 mm external diameter, 14.4 mm internal diameter, 10.0 mm lenght). The cell is supported by a fiberglass plate. The NMR coils (proton and deuteron) are wrapped on the external surface od the cilinder. The microwave irradiation is supplied by a trumpet positioned at 10 mm distance on the side of the cell. The trumpet is then connected on the outside of the cryostat through a 168 cm waveguide line (WR06 twist + WR06 10 inches linear + rectangular-circular transition + 137 cm circular waveguide).
