Minutes of the E00-102 Meeting Monday, June 2 2003 Fissum KF/WH/BR/RR/AS/LW o the goal of this meeting was to update the project status, prior to reorganization, and develop a plan-of-attack for the coming months. o currently, a replay database for the two spectrometers that we are confident in, db_12b, exists. WH has analyzed the data from kin A+/- through kin H+/- using this database, generating physics .hbooks. WH passed on all the information regarding the data analysis that she had. She will continue to monitor the progress we make, and serve in a consultory role until we get our feet underneath us. RR has taken over for WH. o the waterfall target and the necessary variables to analyze the scintillator and VDC efficiencies are not in the current replay .ntuples. RR will talk to Nilanga to see whether or not he and Juncai built the waterfall target into the ESPACE replay or addressed it later. BR has developed .kumacs which allow for the replay of the efficiencies. We should probably also include the necessary variables to create the R-functions, as it is not clear that the toolkit needed to generate R-functions exists in our version of ESPACE. Thus, the replay probably needs to be redone from scratch. o BR will examine the VDC efficiencies in e00102 to see if the same problems exist that have shown up in the e97111 and e01020 data. BR will also examine the electronics deadtime for e00102 and cross check the results against those for e97111. BR will provide his .kumacs for RR to begin the respinning of the tapes. BR also has some tips and tricks to substantially decrease replay time. o RR will continue to come up to speed, and plans to work on e01020 and e00102 analyses in parallel. o KF will get the Lund analysis platform up and running and proceed to build the experiment in software. The plan is to port the .hbooks to Lund after a first-pass reduction has been performed.
