Minutes of the E00-102 Meeting Tuesday, November 15 2005 Fissum JA/KF/SG/JL/AS/SS/LW o KF reported that the entire experimental archive (logbooks, runsheets, online spectra e t c) has been moved from the Lund trailer at JLab to ODU. The Lund trailer at JLab is scheduled to be demolished. o KF reported that Mattias Andersson will defend his Lic in Lund on 23 November 2005 at 13.15. All are welcome. FOLLOWUP: Mattias Andersson successfully defended his Lic. He has now left the project to pursue an education as a teacher. He would like to pass on his thanks to everyone for all of the support he received. He has also expressed his intent to remain part of the analysis team and hopes to be able to help out in the future whenever possible. Best of luck, Mattias! o SG restated that MIT presently has no resources to contribute to the data analysis. o LW will ping the Tel Aviv group regarding a potential PhD student to join the data-analysis effort. Stay tuned. o KF will ping the Madrid group regarding a concrete start time for the simulation project, which we anticipate will begin in Lund in March, 2006. Stay tuned. o the systems folks at ODU joined a long list of systems people the world over who have refused to host our online logbook. LW will try convince the Hall B people to host it. FOLLOWUP: Will Brooks has implemented the logbook for us! I have tested it from Lund and it works as it should. Contact LW for details regarding the location of the logbook, including the login name and password. o JA made several suggestions as to how to nail down the spectrometer acceptances. He also explained in detail how "strangeness" in the seive slit data can be explained via small rotations and offsets of the optical components of the spectrometers. o short discussions re. the problems we have with deadtimes and white-spectra issues at high spectrometer excitations ensued.
